GITM Organizes IIC Workshop on Protecting IPR and IP Management for Startups

Global Institute of Technology and Management (GITM), Gurugram, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a workshop on “Protecting IPR and IP Management for Startups” at the Incubation Center, GITM Campus.

The session was led by Dr. Shyla, who highlighted the importance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in protecting innovations, startups, and business ideas. Participants gained practical insights into patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing, and IP commercialization, along with strategies for safeguarding innovative products and attracting investors.

The interactive workshop encouraged students and aspiring entrepreneurs to understand the role of IP management in building sustainable startups and promoting innovation. Through such initiatives, GITM Gurugram continues to strengthen its entrepreneurship ecosystem, fostering research, startup incubation, industry collaboration, and innovation-driven learning.
