Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with basics of electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data, audio and video (Example AM, FM, PM, DTH), microprocessors, optical fiber communication, satellite communication, solid-state devices, microwave engineering, microcontrollers, antenna and wave propagation etc. All of the applications related to electronics or communication which makes our life easier and enjoyable such as Television, Radio, Computers, Mobile Phones, Laptops and a TV remote etc. are devised and developed by Electronics and Communication Engineers.
