The Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) Program is run under the benefaction of the Computer Science Engineering Department, which was established in 2008 and is one of the largest departments in the institute. 

We emphasize experiential learning opportunities throughout the curriculum, including internships, course assignments, and other industry-driven projects. Our best-in-class faculty continuously strives to work toward the benefit of students, allowing them to master their subjects with ease.

In addition to the academic courses, the department also regularly conducts conferences, workshops, seminars, guest lectures and industry visits to benefit students and faculty. Being the best BCA college in Gurgaon, our computer science department teaches over 30 subjects every semester as a part of more than 10 UG and PG programs in CSE and other disciplines.

Career paths after completing BCA

Software Developer

The role of a Software Developer involves identifying, designing, installing and testing a software system they have built for a company. They monitor and evaluate the entire software development cycle to meet the client’s needs and expectations.

Database Administrator

A Database Administrator ensures the integrity, security and availability of the data in an enterprise. They design and implement a data management system and protect it from loss and corruption. 

Software Support Analyst

The role of a software support analyst includes assisting software developers in troubleshooting bugs and software issues. They also offer technical support to the user while evaluating the overall support program. 

Software Tester

A Software Tester is responsible for quality tests through every software development and deployment stage. They carry out various analyses to ensure thorough testing and comprehensive reports.

Mobile Application Developer

Students with excellent programming skills can apply for the position of Mobile Application Developer in various organizations. A Mobile Application Developer builds, tests and develops a mobile application that makes the buyer’s journey hassle-free. He/she is responsible for designing APIs that support the functionality of mobile devices.

Our BCA curriculum follows an outcome-based learning approach that heavily focuses on experiential learning and self-learning through MOOC courses, flipped classes, practical sessions, and exposure to industry. Clubs

Coding Club

The club’s members are focused on developing innovative coding practices and regularly participate in Hackathons and other competitions focusing on advanced design and coding practices.

IOT club

The club’s purpose is to spread information about the Internet of Things and carry out related projects. It also has a dedicated lab with various IoT kits, including Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards.

Hardware Club

The main objective of this club is to provide the students with knowledge of computer hardware, processors, memories, motherboards, different add-on cards, and other peripherals like printers, plotters, and scanners. The students are trained to assemble and disassemble PCs. 

Software Club

The main objective of this club is to teach the fundamentals of computer software and its applications. These clubs enable the students to learn to design websites, photo edit, and logos using Corel Draw, Photoshop, etc. Students also learn to develop Android Applications from scratch using various software. 

Language & Project Management Club

This club helps students to understand theories, methods and technologies applied for professional software development. The students understand the process to be followed in the software development life cycle. This club enables the students to acquire the art of computer programming and learn about other popular programming languages like Python, Java, PHP, etc. 

Research & Publications club

The institute organizes National and International Conferences, Workshops, and Research Development Programs every year to encourage various research and academic activities. In addition, the institute publishes an in-house journal every year, which includes publications from faculty members and researchers.
