Subject: Maintaining Discipline and Punctuality in the Campus

It has been observed that strict adherence to discipline and punctuality is essential for maintaining the academic excellence and professional environment of the Institute. All students are hereby informed that maintaining discipline and punctuality is mandatory within the campus premises.
In this regard, the following guidelines must be strictly followed:
- Reporting Time:
All students must reach the campus at least 8:55am before the commencement of their scheduled classes. Late entry to classrooms will not be permitted without valid justification. - Attendance & Timings:
Students must adhere to the official academic schedule. Repeated late arrival or early departure from classes will be viewed seriously and may lead to disciplinary action. - Classroom Discipline:
- Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode during lectures.
- Respectful behavior towards faculty members, staff, and fellow students is mandatory.
- Any act of indiscipline, misconduct, or disruption during classes will attract strict action as per Institute norms.
- Campus Conduct:
Students are expected to maintain decorum in corridors, laboratories, library, cafeteria, and all common areas. Proper dress code and professional behavior must be maintained at all times. - Consequences:
Non-compliance with the above instructions may result in warning letters, suspension of privileges, parent intimation, or further disciplinary measures as deemed appropriate by the Institute authorities.
GITM believes that discipline and punctuality are the foundation of professional success. All students are expected to cooperate and uphold the standards and values of the Institute.
