A focused webinar on “Barriers to Effective Patent Filing” was successfully conducted at GITM on 13th November 2025, providing students with an in-depth understanding of intellectual property rights, patent documentation, and strategic measures for innovation protection. The session highlighted common challenges, including lack of awareness, procedural gaps, and documentation errors, while offering practical solutions to overcome these obstacles. Participants gained comprehensive knowledge on protecting their innovative ideas, commercialization strategies, and the legal framework surrounding patents.
