Orientation Session on Institution’s Innovation Council 8.0 & Research Initiatives- 22nd October 2025
An orientation session focused on the IIC 8.0 Calendar and Research & Development (R&D) Cell activities was organized by GITM on 22nd October 2025 under the MIC-driven initiative. The session was delivered by Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Hon’ble Chairman, AICTE, through a live YouTube broadcast, providing participants with valuable insights into innovation ecosystems, research excellence, and institutional frameworks for fostering innovation in higher education. The session clarified upcoming innovation-driven activities, research opportunities, and initiatives under the IIC 8.0 program for both students and faculty. The participants were inspired to actively engage in startups, research projects, and innovation-led activities, reinforcing GITM’s ongoing commitment to academic innovation and excellence. The session not only enhanced understanding of institutional innovation mechanisms but also motivated learners to contribute meaningfully to research and entrepreneurship.
