Lean Startup & MVP Session
A seminar on Lean Startup and Minimum Viable Product was held on 29th August 2025 and was conducted by Dr. Umesha K. During the seminar, practical frameworks related to idea validation, product testing, and efficient business modelling were introduced to students. The session was designed to equip students with practical tools and frameworks for transforming innovative ideas into viable business models.
The core concepts of lean startup methodology were explained, with strong emphasis placed on rapid idea validation, iterative product testing, and the minimization of resource wastage. The processes of designing MVPs, testing assumptions, and refining business strategies based on customer feedback and market insights were learned by students.
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial decision-making were encouraged through the interactive session. By effectively linking theory with practical application, students’ understanding of startup management, innovation strategies, and business scalability was strengthened. Overall, the initiative was aligned with NAAC quality benchmarks, promoting experiential learning, innovation awareness, and preparation for entrepreneurial careers.
