Inspiring Young Minds with the Spirit of the Indian Air Force
Uddan Global was a proud and inspiring occasion at Global Institute of Technology and Management (GITM), celebrating the courage, discipline, and technological excellence of the Indian Air Force—the fourth-largest air force in the world, which guards our skies with unmatched pride and dignity. It was an honour for GITM to welcome the esteemed faculty from the Air Force Technical College (AFTC) to the campus, creating a memorable learning experience for students and cadets alike. During the programme, the AFTC faculty conducted impressive demonstrations of fighter aircraft systems, aircraft engines, and advanced flight simulators of Sukhoi aircraft, offering students rare insights into aviation technology and defense engineering. The session also covered critical aircraft systems such as the Basic Six Instruments, Head-Up Display (HUD), Multi-Function Display (MFD), and gyroscopes, enriching students’ technical knowledge and practical understanding. Beyond technology, the interaction with these real-life heroes instilled a deep sense of pride, integrity, discipline, and patriotism among youngsters, motivating them to dream big and prepare themselves to serve the nation with honour and commitment.
