Global Institute of Technology and Management has transformed into a top placement destination providing multiple and immense opportunity and best packages to Engineering students from across India and world. At Global Institute of Technology and Management the overall campus placements for the running session 2018-19 witnessed an amazing uproar of major brands like Jaguar , TCS, Amazon, WIPRO, JBM, Astron International, Satyam, DLF etc  recruiting engineering students from GITM.

There was a distinct boost of 39% in the total number of companies visiting the GITM campus for the campus placements of engineering students from across various domains whereas a substantial increase of 55% was registered in the number of companies from core branch which recruited students for different profiles paving a way for the young engineers ahead.

Accordingly there was a notable increase in the number of job offers made to the engineering students that registered an overall hike of 79% on a year on year comparison basis.

At the zenith, Amazon offered the highest package of 47 LPA, with an average package of 9.5 LPA.

A massive all time high of 500 + engineering students were selected by 87 multinational brands and ventures that participated in various campus drives being organized

Computer Science and IT branches leads campus placements at GITM

By Far 2018 had been a wonderful year for the placement of students from Computer Science and IT Engineering with three times increase in the number of selections as compared to 2023-24. Telecom and IT Giants like Google, Huawei, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro Technologies, HCL and TCS appointed CS/IT selected record number of 94 students.

More than 21 companies selected 44 students from Mechanical, Engineering branch offering pay packages up-to 10 LPA. Top core mechanical companies which included Mahindra & Mahindra, TAFE, AIS Glass, Royal Enfield, Hyundai, MRF, Godrej Jindal Steel, Tata Power, Tata Technologies and Schindler have recruited students from Mechanical Engineering.

Civil Engineering was the exclusive branch in Engineering category that saw the record number of off-shore hiring with top names like L&T Constructions, Kiewit, Samsung, Royal BAM Group, Skanska, Shapoorji Pallonji, Eveready Industries, Mahindra Susten, ATS Infrastructure and Hindustan Construction Company (HCC). The salary package for Civil Engineering touched a new high of 30% increase as compared to last year reaching up to 12LPA.

One of the most significant and influential engineering students in the Global campus belong to the Electronics and Communication Engineering vertical. The selection of ECE students was done by telecom giants like Vodafone India, Softbank Group Corporation, Telefonica, BSNL, Reliance Communications, Tata Teleservices and utility/appliances brands like LG Electronics, Samsung selected students for various branches across India and abroad.
