Outreach Activity by GITM: Igniting Young Minds through Innovation and Entrepreneurship- on 24th February 2026
The Global Institute of Technology and Management (GITM), Farrukhnagar, Gurugram, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully conducted an impactful Outreach Activity on “Igniting Young Minds: Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program” on 24th February 2026 at The Vector Academy, Farrukhnagar, Gurugram. This initiative reflects GITM’s strong commitment to promoting innovation, startup culture, and entrepreneurial awareness among school students.
As a leading institute offering B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, B.Pharmacy, and D.Pharmacy in Haryana, GITM believes that innovation begins at an early stage. The innovation and entrepreneurship outreach program in Gurugram was designed to inspire young learners to think creatively, develop problem-solving skills, and explore opportunities in emerging technologies and business ventures.
During the session, faculty members and innovation mentors from GITM introduced students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship development, startup ecosystem in India, design thinking, and idea generation techniques. The program highlighted the importance of innovation-driven education, digital transformation, and skill development in today’s competitive world. Students were encouraged to identify real-life problems and brainstorm practical solutions using creativity and technology.
The interactive workshop included engaging discussions on how to start a business, innovation sprints, leadership skills, and career opportunities in technology and management. Real-world examples of successful startups and young entrepreneurs motivated participants to think beyond traditional career paths. The outreach initiative also emphasized government-supported programs such as Startup India and Atmanirbhar Bharat, which encourage youth participation in nation-building through innovation.
Through this school outreach program, GITM aimed to build early awareness about higher education opportunities in engineering, management, and pharmacy. The event strengthened the connection between academia and school education, fostering a culture of curiosity and entrepreneurship among young minds.
