Essay Writing Competition at GITM – Inspiring Thoughtful Expression
On 17th February 2026, Global Institute of Technology & Management (GITM) successfully organized an Essay Writing Competition aimed at nurturing intellectual creativity, critical thinking, and effective written communication among students. The event served as an excellent platform for young minds to articulate their ideas, perspectives, and insights on significant contemporary themes.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across different streams, reflecting their keen interest in academic and literary activities. Participants were given thought-provoking topics that encouraged analytical reasoning, social awareness, and innovative thinking. The essays covered diverse subjects such as sustainable development, technological advancements, leadership in the digital era, mental health awareness, and the role of youth in nation-building.
Students demonstrated remarkable clarity of thought, depth of research, and originality in their writing. The competition not only assessed language proficiency and content structure but also emphasized logical flow, creativity, and the ability to present balanced viewpoints. The atmosphere throughout the event reflected seriousness, focus, and academic dedication.
A panel of esteemed faculty members evaluated the entries based on relevance to the topic, coherence, grammar, originality, critical analysis, and overall presentation. The judges appreciated the maturity and insight reflected in many of the essays, highlighting the strong academic foundation and awareness among GITM students.
The winners were felicitated with certificates and recognition, motivating them to continue developing their writing and analytical skills. However, the true achievement of the event was the opportunity it provided for students to voice their ideas confidently and engage intellectually beyond classroom learning.
At GITM, we believe that strong writing skills are fundamental to academic success and professional growth. The Essay Writing Competition on 17th February 2026 stands as yet another initiative by the Institute to promote academic excellence, creativity, and critical thinking among future leaders.
