Campaign Against Single-Use Plastic under Swachhata Pakhwada 2025
Under Swachhata Pakhwada 2025, a Campaign Against Single-Use Plastic was conducted at GITM from 1–15 September 2025 under the aegis of IQAC and Team Udaan. Awareness regarding the harmful impact of plastic on environment, health, and biodiversity was created. Students and faculty actively participated in spreading messages on reducing plastic usage and adopting eco-friendly alternatives. The principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle were emphasized through informative interactions. Sustainable practices such as the use of cloth bags and biodegradable materials were promoted. The campaign effectively sensitized the campus community toward environmental conservation and responsible behaviour, reinforcing GITM’s commitment to sustainability and cleanliness.
