Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Camp
A Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Camp was organized by GITM on 11 September 2025 in collaboration with the Rotary Club, Rewari, with the aim of promoting women’s health and spreading awareness regarding early detection and prevention of breast cancer. The initiative was undertaken as part of the institute’s commitment to social responsibility and community welfare. Screening services and expert guidance were provided by experienced medical professionals. Awareness sessions were conducted to educate participants about symptoms, risk factors, and preventive measures, while the significance of self-examination, regular screening, and healthy lifestyle practices was emphasized. Participants were encouraged to interact openly with medical experts, enabling doubts and misconceptions to be addressed effectively. Active support and coordination were extended by faculty members, students, and staff. The camp successfully sensitized the community toward preventive healthcare and concluded with positive feedback, reflecting GITM’s strong dedication to healthcare awareness and social outreach.
