Workshop on Big Data Analytics using Machine Learning

Global Institute of Technology & Management Computer Sciences Department conducted a workshop on Big Data Analytics using Machine Learning. The program was held from 13th February 2023 to 17th February 2023 and was conducted under the guidance of Assistant Professor and course coordinator Ms. Preeti. The primary objective of this program was to enhance the skill set of final year students of B. Tech. (CSE) and BCA. The workshop training program covered various topics such as the Types of Digital Data, Introduction to Big Data, Big Data Analytics, History of Hadoop, Apache Hadoop, Analyzing Data with UNIX tools, Analyzing Data with Hadoop, Hadoop Streaming, The Design of HDFS, HDFS Concepts, Hadoop file system interfaces, Data flow, Data Ingest with Flume and Scoop and Hadoop archives, Hadoop I/Compression, Anatomy of a Map Reduce Job Run, Failures, Job Scheduling, Shuffle and Sort, Task Execution, Map Reduce Types and Formats, Map Reduce Features, Machine Learning : Introduction, Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning.
The training program was well-received by the students as it provided them with a hands-on learning experience at the end by project works. The program helped the students to understand the practical implementation of Big Data Analytics using Machine learning the real world.
